Indirect Tax – Unclaimed Property and Escheat Services
professional, where you’ll apply your expertise to manage client consultations, identify risks, and ensure compliance with unclaimed property regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Support client consultations and challenge the unclaimed property and escheat approach for optimal effectiveness.
Develop strong client relationships and collaborate effectively with internal resources.
Implement knowledge of unclaimed property concepts and requirements to meet client needs.
Work in a highly collaborative culture, listening to and sharing information with colleagues.
Qualifications
Founded bachelor's degree and 3 years of related work experience.
Technical experience in compliance, audit defense, and consulting for abandoned and unclaimed property services.
Performance and process advisory experience related to unclaimed property compliance.
Broad exposure to state and local taxation.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and verbal/written communication skills.
Willingness to travel and work in a balanced hybrid environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of relevant unclaimed property consulting experience within a professional services environment.
Ability to obtain CPA certification, membership in the US Bar, or a professional designation from the IPT.
