My client are growing and expanding the U.S. Federal sales team by hiring a new top performing Federal Sales Director with deep experience selling cybersecurity SaaS solutions into the U.S. Government.

This is a strategic Fed sales role focused on senior‑level engagement, influence, and long‑cycle deal execution. This is not a transactional or volume‑driven sales position.
Success in this role requires the ability to operate credibly with senior government stakeholders, shape requirements, and drive internal advocacy at the program and leadership levels.
Role Overview
This is one of the first Federal sales hires in the U.S. and a critical position within the company’s Federal growth strategy.
You will work directly with the Head of U.S. Operations and play a visible role in building the organization’s Federal market presence and strategic account footprint.
You will be fully supported by executive leadership, technical resources, and marketing to drive high‑impact outcomes and establish yourself as a top performing contributor within a growing Federal business.
Key Responsibilities
Lead strategic new customer acquisition across U.S. Federal agencies and defense‑aligned organizations
Build and execute multi‑threaded sales strategies within target accounts
Engage, influence, and advise senior government stakeholders including program leaders, technical authorities, and procurement leadership
Develop internal champions who actively sponsor and advocate for solutions through complex buying cycles
Drive account‑level strategy and long‑term relationship development, not transactional deal motion
Lead high‑impact, in‑person meetings, executive briefings, and mission‑focused discussions
Background needed:
8–10+ years of cyber security sales experience, with the majority focused on U.S. Federal customers
Demonstrated success as a top performing or record‑breaking Federal sales professional
Experience selling cyber threat intelligence, cyber forensics, cyber investigations, or adjacent security technologies preferred
Established relationships with senior Federal stakeholders, including program managers, technical leaders, and decision authorities
Proven ability to influence buying groups and secure internal government champions
Strong understanding of Federal procurement processes, acquisition frameworks, and mission‑driven buying behavior
Highly consultative, executive presence, and credible in senior‑level discussions
This role is designed for a Federal sales professional who is motivated by complex environments, long‑term strategic impact, and winning through influence, trust, and operational relevance — not through transactional sales activity.
Basic Salary: $155,000 – $175,000 | Double OTE
