Description
As a Locum CRNA, you will play a crucial role in delivering anesthesia services, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Your expertise will contribute to various clinical settings, and you will have the chance to make a significant impact on patient care during your assignment.
Responsibilities
Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical and other medical procedures
Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and develop individualized anesthesia plans
Monitor patients’ vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals
Provide post-anesthesia care and evaluate patients' recovery
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and standards
Educate patients and their families about anesthesia and procedural expectations
Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives within the department
Requirements
Valid CRNA certification and active state licensure
Associate degree in nursing with a specialization in anesthesia
Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred
Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques and pharmacology
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Commitment to patient-centered care and safety standards
Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, specific dates
No call requirement
Setting: Outpatient
Patient Volume: 10 per shift
Caseload: 100% GI
Must be board-certified
