Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 10+ years of experience in enterprise technology or cloud sales, management consulting, or partner management with business development. 3+ years of experience leading teams in a technical customer‑facing role within professional services or Sales Engineering, as a manager or manager of managers. Ability to travel up to 25% of the time. Preferred qualifications

10+ years of people management with profit and loss responsibility. Experience with software lifecycles, building tools, architecting and developing software for scalable, distributed systems, including data platform, AI/ML, and infrastructure. Experience managing a team through sales processes, operations, and career development, including account mapping, quota setting, quarterly/annual performance management, and managing sensitive information. Understanding of the HPC market, products, and different customer segments/use cases of the emerging AI Compute tech stack. About the Job

The Google Cloud Platform team helps customers transform and build what's next for their business with technology built in the cloud. As Senior Manager, High Performance Computing (HPC), you will drive strategy, growth, and customer success for the HPC business in North America. You will lead a team of HPC specialist sales and customer engineers, collaborate across sales, product, engineering, and finance, and operate at the C‑level internally and externally. Base salary range: $186,000–$261,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Compensation details for U.S. postings reflect base salary only; additional benefits are determined by role, level, and location. Responsibilities

Grow the HPC business and expand GCP’s leadership position through long‑term HPC partnerships and accelerated adoption. Develop and drive strategic growth initiatives, sales plays, and customer programs to enable short and long‑term customer success and scale GTM processes. Own the HPC rhythm of the business, including business and finance forecast cadence with key stakeholders. Lead complex HPC business cycles with a customer‑first mindset, ownership, and accountability for partnership success. Lead a team of HPC sales specialists and customer engineers, focusing on talent strategy and skill development to deliver successful cloud transformation outcomes.
