Practice Overview The Private Capital and Value Creation team specializes in supporting private equity investors throughout the entire deal lifecycle—opportunity identification, due diligence, and post‑transaction value realization. The Commercial Effectiveness (CE) arm works across industries to drive breakthrough revenue and margin improvement.

About The Role As an Engagement Manager, you will lead project teams in post‑deal value creation and pricing/GTM due diligence activities. Your responsibilities include:

Leading teams of consultants on commercial topics such as pricing, sales, and marketing; developing hypotheses; managing data, creating models; conducting primary and secondary research; and surfacing insights.

Guiding the consulting team through hypothesis testing, client information review, interview development, insight generation, and deliverable production.

Synthesizing findings into written presentations and discussing them with clients and stakeholders.

Supporting Partners with project execution—work planning, workflow management, coaching, mentoring, and career development for junior team members.

Cultivating client relationships, presenting to senior audiences, and working with C‑Suite and senior executives.

Communicating issues and solutions formally and informally.

Applying best practices, personal and team expertise, and firm competencies to deliver successful projects.

Guiding and influencing client and team thinking.

Contributing to business development—proposals, pitches, and follow‑on opportunities.

Guiding clients through implementation and change management, ensuring adoption and measurable impact.

Desired Skills And Experience

For Engagement Manager: 5–8+ years of relevant experience, ideally in management consulting with a focus on top‑line growth strategy, pricing, and GTM.

For Principal: 8+ years in a relevant role, likely in a top‑tier strategy consulting firm.

Deep knowledge of pricing, sales, and marketing topics, analytics‑driven approaches, and commercial effectiveness tools.

Solid understanding of private equity dynamics and operational frameworks.

Demonstrated ability to lead teams in fast‑paced environments.

Strong strategic problem‑solving and analytical skills.

Exceptional verbal and written communication; experience presenting to senior leadership.

Willingness to travel as required.

Proven ability to mentor and develop diverse teams.

Undergraduate degree; advanced degree (MBA or similar) preferred.
