Director, SAP Reporting and Analytics – Retail Location: Denver, CO; Salary: $145,000.00-$160,000.00

Responsibilities

Independently manage project teams for complete end‑to‑end engagements, following leading practices and coordinating resources.

Lead design and blueprinting sessions, acting as solution architect and technical lead for SAP Data & Analytics implementations such as SAP Datawarehouse Cloud (DWC), SAP BW/4 HANA, Enterprise HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP Business Objects, Embedded Analytics, SAP Data Intelligence, and related integration and enhancements.

Conduct large assessments in highly complex SAP environments (SAP ECC 6.0/SAP S4 HANA, SAP BW HANA), and define future state architecture and operating models, including coexistence with third‑party tools and major cloud & big data technologies.

Leverage industry‑specific knowledge to identify complex client issues and build long‑term business relationships with key executives, delivering engagement and networking through professional organizations.

Participate in business development by identifying new opportunities, assisting with proposal development, and contributing thought leadership to the evolution of our Business Intelligence/Analytics methodologies and intellectual capital (e.g., publishing articles, whitepapers, or research).

Manage and provide leadership to teams of staff‑level professionals, actively involving staff development and practice management.

Qualifications

Minimum ten years’ recent SAP Analytics experience (SAP BW, SAP BW/4 HANA, HANA SQL) including SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Analysis Office, SAP Business Objects tools, and experience leading full‑life‑cycle implementations.

Minimum two years of end‑to‑end implementations with recent SAP innovation products such as SAP Datawarehouse Cloud, SAP Data Intelligence; at least five years of implementation experience with SAP HANA 1.0/2.0 and SAP S/4 HANA; minimum five years of work with SAP BW 7.4 or higher; deep expertise in reporting & analytics, ODP/CDS views‑based extractions, data warehousing, cloud database concepts.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university; MBA or MIS preferred.

Experience in Re‑host, Re‑architect, Re‑build, Re‑factor, Lift & Shift, process reengineering, designing, and implementing SAP Analytics architectures, data modeling, and development with hyperscalers and modern data platforms.

Functional knowledge of SAP BW, Fiori, Analysis for Office, HANA Studio; understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and delivery of functionality on time, on budget, and to business needs; experience managing an SAP Business Intelligence Architecture strategy and roadmap.

Ability to travel up to 80%.
