We are hiring an elite General Manager to take full operational and financial leadership of a high-performing semi-truck repair shop in Ohio.

About the Role As the General Manager, you will own the entire P&L and drive all aspects of shop performance across revenue, operations, team leadership, parts, customer relationships, and growth strategy.
You will build the systems, processes, and team required to scale — reducing owner dependency and preparing the business for multi-location expansion.

Expand high‑margin service lines: diagnostics, DPF, alignment, electrical, mobile repair & roadside
Grow to
25–30%+
through pricing, productivity, and margin optimization
Improve billed hours per technician
Improve throughput and reduce downtime
Standardize processes across all service categories
Implement segmented invoicing (parts / labor / diagnostics / mobile)
Recruit, train, and coach technicians & support staff
Build a repeatable operating system for future locations
Create KPI dashboards and accountability routines
P&L Ownership
Own revenue, margins, labor cost, and profitability
Build budgets, forecasts, and weekly/monthly performance reports
Implement pricing strategy and margin discipline
Operations & Workflow Management
Optimize bay usage, technician scheduling, and job cycle time
Set SLAs and enforce standards
Parts & Inventory Control
Negotiate with suppliers
Optimize parts sourcing and inventory levels
Improve parts margin to
25–35%
Lead a team of 12
Recruit technicians, parts staff, and service advisors
Implement incentives tied to productivity & quality
Conduct performance reviews
Customer & Fleet Relations
Improve communication and transparency
Build fleet maintenance programs
Increase retention and repeat business
Business Development
Grow external customer base
Expand mobile/roadside operations
Prepare for second location launch
Experience
5–10+ years leadership in
diesel / semi-truck / heavy‑duty repair operations
Proven track record scaling a shop from
$2–5M to $6–10M+
Full P&L responsibility for a
$3M+
operation
Strong understanding of diesel mechanics, workflow, and parts
Experience with shop management systems (Fullbay, Mitchell, Tekmetric, etc.)
