Pay Range Base pay range: $66,097.00/yr – $76,011.00/yr. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.
Duties & Responsibilities Purpose of Position : Supervise or administrate health program services with independent initiative and judgment.
Consult with medical and professional staff and coordinate joint patient and management objectives; act as liaison between the Department of Medical Services and other administrative divisions.
Provide administrative supervision for a health service program.
Plan, develop, and conduct training programs to maintain proficiency of staff and use of new equipment and methods.
Allocate staff based on workload, space, and available equipment.
Supervise studies related to the service/program and analyze modifications and development of systems and procedures to improve departmental operations; make recommendations and implement changes.
Coordinate research projects and conduct special studies to evaluate rehabilitative programs.
Direct the processing of orders for requisitioning equipment, prosthetic appliances, and medical supplies for patients.
Consult with medical, nursing, and other staff to clarify ambiguities and secure documentation and certification.
Analyze patient records with clinical staff to ensure documentation aligns with reimbursement formulas.
Ensure compliance with current policies and procedures.
Supervise office administration and record‑keeping activities.
Oversee employee supervision, performance, and development in assigned areas.
Supervise the preparation and publication of operational manuals and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree in Public Health, Public Administration, Business Administration, Social Work, Psychology, or Rehabilitation Counseling plus one year of full‑time experience in medically‑oriented health care support systems, OR
Bachelor’s degree in one of the above disciplines plus two years of full‑time experience, OR
A satisfactory equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience; each year of relevant training may substitute for 30 semester credits. All applicants must have at least a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Department Preferences
Electronic Medical Record system operations, preferably Epic or equivalent used in large hospital enterprise systems.
Three years minimum working with Maternal, Prenatal, or Pediatrics populations.
Experience with:
Healthcare organization workflow, processes, and operations.
Patient teaching methods.
Nationally recognized prenatal screening tools.
Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) definitions and needs.
Demonstrated knowledge in factors and program metrics influencing outcomes for maternal‑child populations.
