West Region Transportation Program Management Services Lead

HDR’s Transportation Business Group seeks an experienced leader to oversee multidisciplinary teams, coordinate program delivery, and grow our program management practice. Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage quality and best practices across the program management business class. Develop long‑term tactical plans with HDR’s Transportation Program Management Director to address client needs and program delivery. Collaborate with Area and Market Sector leadership to achieve booking goals and expand program management in the West Region. Support staffing requirements through worksharing coordination and cross‑sector collaboration. Manage internal and external client relationships, including pursuit and proposal preparation. Provide support in Project Director or PIC roles for selected programs. Identify and develop talent for future program management leaders. Work with each Area to determine program priorities, pursuits, and support needs. Attend Business Class technical leadership meetings and review the TransPARR process. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Planning or related field. Minimum of ten years program management experience, including at least four years as a Senior Program Manager, with experience on three or more programs each ≥$500 million or concurrent programs totaling ≥$500 million. License or certification: Professional Engineering License, PMP, PgMP, AICP, or CCM. Strong leadership and team‑building skills with remote teams. Excellent communication skills, comfortable presenting to executives. Experience with alternative delivery methods (DB, PDB, CMAR). Proficiency with program management tools (PMIS, CMIS, scheduling, cost control, etc.). Integrated experience within a PMO comprising consultant and client staff. Preferred Qualifications
Experience developing and managing diverse teams. Cooperative engagement with business class leaders, operations managers, technical directors, and marketing managers.
