General Summary The Senior Product Manager position is a critical leader responsible for contributing to strategic priorities for our Vision Insurance, driving the successful execution of initiatives that advance our growing vision insurance business. Reporting to the Vice President of Digital Experience & Product Strategy, this role drives operational execution, product strategy, and cross‑functional alignment to accelerate vision product growth, adoption, and member satisfaction. This position oversees the end‑to‑end product lifecycle and serves as a key sales consultant to identify key sales opportunities, coach sales teams, and translate market intelligence into actionable product and go‑to‑market strategies. The Senior Product Manager ensures seamless experiences across the member, employer, and broker journey, manages cross‑functional execution with internal teams, external partners, and sales channels for successful implementations of vision initiatives on time, on budget, and with measurable impact. This position will be with Stratacor, an affiliate of Delta Dental of Minnesota.
Essential Functions
Lead the implementation of new and enhanced vision insurance products from strategy through launch, ensuring operational readiness and stakeholder alignment
Manage cross‑functional initiative execution across product, operations, compliance, marketing, sales, and vendor teams
Develop and manage delivery timelines, resource plans, status reporting, and risk mitigation strategies for key initiatives
Serve as a key liaison between business teams and stakeholders, translating strategy into executable plans
Monitor product key measures post‑launch; identify improvement opportunities and lead iteration efforts
Support intake and prioritization of product enhancement requests; manage backlog, scoping, and roadmap alignment
Collaborate with external vendors and strategic partners to support product delivery
Lead user acceptance testing (UAT), issues resolution, and post‑launch quality assessments
Provide leadership, guidance, and influence across cross‑functional teams, mentoring peers and stakeholders, while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
Discern vision sales opportunities within the existing client base, and collaborate with sales team to pursue and close new business opportunities
Participate with sales and account management teams in sales activities, including development of requests‑for‑proposals (RFPs), sales presentations, and client meetings
Serve as a vision subject matter expert, providing real‑time recommendations, prospect‑specific sales strategies, and market insights to drive growth
Diagnose training needs for sales and account management teams, and deliver targeted training and coaching to enhance product and market fluency
Provide ongoing membership forecasts, pipeline analyses, and opportunity reporting in support of leadership forums, strategic planning, and budgeting processes
Act as a voice of the market, sharing feedback and insights related to pricing, product development, competitive dynamics, contracts, brokers, and emerging opportunities across internal teams

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (Required)
Healthcare Insurance Expertise: Strong knowledge of healthcare insurance products, including benefits structure, operational workflows, regulatory context, and customer needs
Product Lifecycle Execution: Proven ability to manage a full insurance or similar product lifecycle from concept to launch to ongoing optimization
Healthcare & Insurance Operations: Understanding of insurance systems and processes (claims, enrollment, eligibility, billing) and how they connect to product delivery
Cross‑Functional Project Management: Experience coordinating work across departments (operations, marketing, compliance, sales, vendors) to deliver successful outcomes
Adaptability & Resilience: Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, evolving environment where priorities shift and initiatives must move quickly

Education and Experience (Required)
Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Marketing, or related field; and/or equivalent work experience
Six (6) years of experience in product management and/or a related role in the healthcare insurance, or employee benefits field
Three (3) years of leadership experience managing teams, projects, or cross‑functional initiatives

The starting salary range for this position is $117,000 to $146,000. Salary offers will typically be made in the listed range. The Company takes into consideration a candidate's education, training, and experience, as well as the position's work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value, including merit process and internal pay alignment when determining the salary for potential new team members.
