Key Responsibilities

Operational Performance

Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain records per policy.

Assist RCD/GHD in training all Garden House Team Members.

Coordinate daily activity routines and specialized activities with GM and GHD.

Work with ALPD to coordinate activities/events for all residents.

Order supplies, schedule, and set up all activities in the Garden House.

Provide daily status reports to GM and GHD on all residents.

Assist with housekeeping, laundry, and meals as needed.

Other duties as assigned.

Resident Satisfaction

Create and maintain high standards of Garden House activities.

Meet with residents and families regularly as directed.

Ensure residents’ activity needs are met with attention to individuality and dignity.

Ensure the Garden House team is fully trained in the Inspire Connection activity program.

Acknowledge residents’ special days and coordinate holiday celebrations.

Track visitor participations and adjust calendar events accordingly.

Qualifications

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; minimum age 18.

Two years’ experience in dementia care.

Senior living experience preferred.

Successful completion of all background checks and required credentials.

Physical Requirements This role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and assisting with resident care. Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement are required throughout the workday. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
