Lashly & Baer, P.C., a respected St. Louis law firm with a strong litigation practice, is seeking a motivated entry-level attorney to join our growing Litigation Practice Group. This is an excellent opportunity for a new lawyer who wants to become a skilled litigator and build a long-term career with a collaborative team.
What You’ll Do
Work closely with experienced litigators to develop cases from initial investigation through trial.
Assist in crafting litigation strategies and advising clients across a broad range of matters, including insurance defense, transportation law, premises liability, and products liability.
Conduct written and oral discovery.
Draft motions, briefs, and other pleadings.
Handle court appearances and work directly with clients to drive meaningful results.
What We’re Looking For
Licensed to practice in Missouri or Illinois (both preferred).
Up to one year of litigation experience is required, additional experience is a plus.
Strong academic credentials.
Excellent writing, communication, and analytical skills.
A proactive mindset with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Interest in building a litigation career and taking on responsibility early.
