Overview Maimonides is currently seeking an Office Coordinator to perform office and program coordination, administrative and clerical duties for the Volunteer and Student Services department.
Responsibilities
Coordinate high school and college internship programs; work closely with school internship coordinators and faculty.
Coordinate summer youth program, such as SYEP, 1199 Youth Mentoring Program, DOE CTE program, etc.
Screen applicants, process applications, manage references and background checks, and ensure compliance with departmental standards.
Conduct interviews, orientations, assist with training, recognition events, and outreach activities like career fairs.
Perform data entry, manage volunteer sign-in/out, prepare reports, handle correspondence such as recommendations, greet visitors, and maintain office organization.
Ensure adherence to departmental policies, procedures, quality assurance, safety, environmental, and infection control standards. Also, support departmental compliance with regulatory guidelines and assist with special projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree.
Three (3) years of administrative/secretarial experience in a hospital environment and/or working with youth.
Computer and MS Office Suite proficiency & type 55 WPM.
Excellent communication, both verbal and written, and interpersonal skills.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Pay Range USD $55,000.00 - USD $60,000.00 /Yr.
