Responsibilities Our engineers collaborate with interdisciplinary partners, coordinate with diverse engineering teams and ensure project success. Typical tasks include:
Collaborate across disciplines, acting as a bridge between engineering teams.
Develop innovative design studies, define project scopes and create accurate engineering estimates.
Draft detailed specifications for electrical equipment, evaluate technical bids and select solutions.
Execute essential electrical calculations that form the foundation of designs and installations.
Travel to project sites, conduct walk‑downs, oversee installations and support start‑up activities.
Mentor junior employees and foster a positive, goal‑oriented environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work and training.
Typically 3 years of experience with design of electrical systems.
Experience preferred in engineering/design services, power generation, nuclear power, heavy industry (chemical or pulp & paper), energy, or government (DOE) projects.
Strong writing, presentation and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively as an individual contributor and in teams.
Proficient in Word and Excel.
Some roles may require U.S. citizenship for federal contract work.
Senior engineers usually have 7 years of post‑graduate experience.
Principal engineers usually have 10 years of post‑graduate experience.
Early talent opportunities available for those with less than 3 years of experience.
Pay Range USD $90,000.00 – $177,450.00 per year.
