Department is seeking a

Senior Principal Electrical Engineer

with strong networking background to join our Hardware and Infrastructure team implementing the next generation RADAR solutions.

What You Will Do

Design infrastructure for networked systems both COTS and program specific hardware.

Support the research and selection of servers, workstations, add‑in interface cards, storage devices, and other hardware.

Work in a lab environment and operate standard test equipment including oscilloscopes, processor bus analyzers, emulators, and data capture tools, etc.

Collaborate in development with hardware engineering disciplines, supply chain, field engineering, on‑site installation and trades, and Customers to develop future SPY6 family of Radars Networks.

Re‑design management configuration and deployment of Networks.

On‑call support for break‑fix and installation support (Local/LBTS/Ship).

Support occasional domestic travel and potential international travel.

This position is 100% ONSITE in Marlborough, MA.

Qualifications You Must Have

Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent STEM discipline.

Minimum ten (10) years of professional network engineering experience with emerging and legacy hardware and software, including Network devices (Cisco, Dell, HP/Aruba, etc.) and modern operating systems (Linux/Windows).

Experience developing and implementing computing, networking, and information technology infrastructure through a rigorous design and documentation process.

Experience taking a system design concept from the block diagram or requirements level and developing a complete network hardware design.

Design verification via integration and test plans and activities.

U.S. Citizen – Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance required prior to start date.

Qualifications We Prefer

Master’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or equivalent discipline.

Current or in-progress computing/networking certification(s) (e.g. CCNA, AWS, CISSP).

Experience with RADAR system hardware.

Experience with Firewall design and configuration including network access controls.

Experience implementing Security Technical Implementation Guides, network hardening, system level hardware integration and troubleshooting skills.

Salary range for this role is $124,000 - $250,000 USD.

Specific benefits depend on the specific business unit and whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on level and collective bargaining agreement.

This role is U.S.-based. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits apply.
