About the Role
We are seeking a Tax Manager with expertise in partnership taxation to join our finance and tax team in Houston, TX. The position focuses on managing partnership tax compliance, planning, and reporting for joint ventures and pass‑through entities within our energy infrastructure organization.
Salary & Benefits Base Pay Range:
$150,000 – $180,000 per year

Key Responsibilities
Lead tax planning and structuring for partnership arrangements, joint ventures, and other pass‑through entities.
Provide technical expertise on allocations, basis adjustments, capital accounts, and distributive share matters.
Partner with accounting team to ensure accurate tax provision reporting under ASC 740.
Monitor legislative and regulatory developments related to partnership taxation and advise leadership.
Coordinate with external auditors, advisors, and tax authorities.
Support tax aspects of strategic projects, including financing, capital projects, and M&A activity.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA and/or Master of Taxation strongly preferred.
6–10 years of progressive tax experience with significant focus on partnership taxation.
In‑depth knowledge of Subchapter K and partnership tax regulations.
Prior experience at a Big 4 or large public accounting firm preferred; industry experience in energy, infrastructure, or private equity a plus.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
