Our client, a high‑growth CPG company, is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager based in Boca Raton, Florida. This hybrid position offers excellent compensation and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a rapidly expanding organization.
Base pay range $120,000.00/yr – $130,000.00/yr
Job Function
Research and analyze complex accounting issues (e.g., revenue recognition, leases, business combinations, equity, impairment, and debt).
Draft and maintain company accounting policies and technical memos.
Monitor and implement new accounting standards (ASC updates) and assess their impact on financial statements.
Assist with SEC reporting requirements including 10‑Ks, 10‑Qs, and other filings, working cross‑functionally with Legal, FP&A, and external auditors to ensure accurate accounting treatment of transactions.
Support internal and external audit processes through documentation and policy explanation. Assist with purchase accounting for M&A activities and other ad‑hoc technical accounting projects.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA required.
3–8 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably a mix of Big 4 public accounting and corporate technical accounting.
Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal control best practices (SOX experience a plus).
Experience in preparing technical accounting memos and working with external auditors.
