Base pay range $120,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr
General Manager Our General Managers lead our Founding Farmers team and grow our business. They are committed to operating a profitable restaurant, driving sales, growing our brand, and building the culture of hospitality while providing delicious scratch‑made food and beverages for our guests. WHAT OUR GENERAL MANAGERS DO:
Control day‑to‑day operations by scheduling, ordering, and developing restaurant team members
Directly responsible for profit & loss by following cash control/security procedures, maintaining inventory, managing labor, reviewing financial reports, and taking appropriate actions
Recruit, interview, and hire staff, motivate and train team, and take disciplinary actions, as needed
Ensure fully staffed, fully trained, and fully performing location
Oversee and adhere to local health and safety codes, as well as company‑wide safety and security policies
Follow the preventative maintenance program for facility, equipment, appliances, fixtures, etc.
Lead a culture of safety and promote a positive working environment
Drive the company goals and objectives for creating a best‑in‑class guest experience
Bottom line responsibility for all guest reviews and guest experiences
Maintain and ensure all products are consistent with company quality standards and recipes
Partner with and complete timely execution of marketing initiatives
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE A GENERAL MANAGER:
Flexibility to work in either DC, MD or VA
Experience managing in high volume restaurants, with a minimum of three years preferred
Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds, as needed
Capable of continuous bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, and use of hands and arms
Strong understanding of restaurant operations
Robust financial aptitude in respect to business operations
Passion for hospitality
Ability to lead and develop a team
Be caring, self‑motivated, and exhibit an aptitude for leading, coaching, and driving excellence
Hospitality degree preferred
