Citigroup Global Markets Inc. seeks a Business Unit Manager for its New York, New York location.
Duties
Lead workforce planning activities for the Banking organization.
Extract data from HR and Finance systems, consolidate and provide a comprehensive view of headcount changes.
Provide insights on recent trends and suggest actions to achieve headcount targets.
Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to improve headcount monitoring process.
Implement forecasting methodology to project future number of banking employees.
Analyze key drivers, historical volumes and define assumptions based on recent trends.
Calculate quarterly and annual projected number of people for future periods.
Define headcount data standards and implement data quality controls; cleanse employee data with HR.
Telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies.
Requirements
Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in roles such as Compliance Business Control Officer, Risk & Controls Reporting Lead, Organization Development & HR Strategy Analyst, Finance Expense Management Process Lead, or similar.
Experience recommending target-setting practices based on historical data and external benchmarking; calculating additive/non-additive measures; and creating Tableau dashboards.
Experience assigning results to senior leaders and navigating through organizational structure using central corporate system dimensions.
Strong analysis of HR data, trends by location, role, seniority, pyramid distribution, gender, ethnicity, and movement of hiring, transfers, attrition.
Workforce planning: analyzing open positions, headcount changes, and end-to-end process from incremental needs to onboarding.
Data modeling using statistical tools to produce high-end and low-end estimates and incorporate discretionary inputs.
Data visualization for report generation using Tableau, MicroStrategy and Microsoft Office.
Systems automation using Selenium and VBA.
Compensation & Benefits
Wage Range: $176,720 to $265,000.
