Job Summary and Responsibilities The Supervisor, Imaging Tech Ops is expected to provide tactical leadership in order to maximize the effectiveness of all service delivery systems and financial performance. The role engages staff and cultivates an imaging center culture that prioritizes humankindness and patient-centric care consistent with Dignity Health and Dignity Health Medical Foundation’s “way” and culture. The supervisor coordinates the day-to-day operational aspects of the clinic and works closely with staff and radiologists in each unit to ensure that all fiduciary and imaging center goals are met. The position has access to third‑party credit card information, transactional systems and also patient protected health information (PHI), and is responsible for safeguarding patient health and financial information.
Job Requirements Minimum Qualifications
Satisfactory completion of a formal AMA school of Radiologic Technology or equivalent to an AMA Technologic program.
One year of supervisor or lead experience required.
Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT (RTR), RadioTechnologist Magnetic Resonance Imaging (RTMR), or ARMRIT MRI (ARMRIT).
Basic Life Support – CPR (BLS‑CPR).
Excellent interpersonal, organizational and customer service skills are essential.
Demonstrated knowledge of anatomy and physiology for imaging, proper operation of and care of radiology diagnostic equipment, and radiation safety.
Expertise in use of digital imaging applications such as PACS, RIS, EMR and other technical applications to support imaging modalities.
Preferred Qualifications
Three (3) years’ experience as a technologist.
One (1) year experience in an outpatient environment is preferred.
Bachelor’s in Health Management or Business Administration.
Billing and coding experience.
Understanding of radiology exams and procedures.
