CWTCH CPG is a growing 3PL and operations partner for emerging CPG brands. We’re building something different here: a nimble warehouse operation that delivers enterprise-level accuracy, small-team speed, and a client experience that feels human.
We’re hiring a Warehouse & 3PL Director who can own the entire operation end‑to‑end. You’ll build structure, elevate standards, and lead a small team already in place. This is not an office‑only role. It’s a leadership position for someone who’s just as comfortable developing SOPs, forecasting capacity, and meeting potential new clients.
You will be the key operational leader for our 3PL division.
What You’ll Lead You will take full ownership of the 3PL operation across two warehouse locations. That includes:
Warehouse Operations
Oversee all receiving, shipping, inventory control, workflow planning, and daily warehouse operations.
Maintain NSF standards: cleanliness, sanitation, temperature/humidity logs, and ongoing compliance.
Ensure all daily logs, quality checks, sample testing, and environmental testing are completed.
Maintain & troubleshoot Shiphero: inventory issues, packer station issues, address validations, labeling errors, etc.
Ensure each station is properly stocked and refilled daily, including materials, packaging, and supplies.
Oversee product transfers between warehouses and stations.
Manage returns workflow and ensure all returned products are processed in Shiphero and/or Monday.com quickly and accurately.
Ensure samples are prepped for 3rd party labs and monthly product testing is completed (photos, videos, tasting notes).
Oversee reships, exchanges, and return resolution in partnership with Customer Service.
Ensure daily shipping is flawless: USPS, Amazon, ShipDudes, local couriers.
Review and approve manifests, pickups, and freight scheduling.
Maintain high‑level accuracy and efficiency standards that directly support client satisfaction and retention.
Own inventory accuracy across both warehouse locations.
Ensure all counts are updated weekly in Monday.com and reconciled with Shiphero.
Maintain clean, well‑organized pallet storage and bay assignments.
Manage cycle counts, identify shrink, and address root causes.
Keep product photos updated in Monday.com when new items arrive.
Manage the warehouse team of four (packers/associates).
Provide ongoing training, development, and accountability to create a high‑performance environment.
Fix on‑screen shipping issues and support employees with punch edits, PTO submissions, and questions.
Establish weekly communication rhythms, clear performance expectations, and documented SOPs.
Operational Excellence & Special Projects
Handle and delegate all special project requests:
Stickering, boxing, re‑cas‑ing
Packaging usage analysis
Batch testing
One‑off requests
Maintain the building and equipment: alarms, HVAC, pest control, office supplies, printer management, calibration of scales/thermostats.
Jump in on unexpected issues with ease.
Sales & Business Development (3PL Growth)
Meet with potential new 3PL clients, provide walkthroughs, discuss capabilities, and quote services.
Build relationships with key vendors and carriers.
Help position CWTCH CPG as a trusted 3PL for scaling CPG brands.
Contribute to pricing strategy, service menu, and client onboarding playbooks.
What Success Looks Like You’re the right person if you want to run the entire operational engine, not just oversee it. You should naturally bring:
A builder’s mindset (you like improving systems, not maintaining outdated ones)
The ability to manage up and anticipate needs
Confidence making decisions in a fast‑paced environment
Comfort being hands‑on when needed
Experience in a 3PL or high‑volume CPG warehouse
Pride in keeping a warehouse clean, compliant, efficient, and accurate
A leadership style that develops people, not just directs them
The ability to talk to clients like a partner, not a vendor
What You Bring Required:
5+ years in warehouse operations leadership, preferably in a 3PL or CPG environment
Strong understanding of receiving, shipping, routing, and inventory systems (Shiphero experience preferred)
Experience leading small teams and running floor operations firsthand
Process‑oriented, systems‑driven mindset
Ability to manage special projects with shifting priorities
Strong communication skills and client‑facing presence
Nice to Have:
Experience with certifications/standards (NSF, FDA, SQF, etc.)
Monday.com or similar workflow system experience
Existing relationships in the 3PL, CPG, or fulfillment space
Ability to scale operations as we grow
What We Offer:
Competitive health, vision and dental benefits.
Opportunity to work in a fast‑growing, innovative company.
Career growth and professional development.
Compensation: $120,000-$150,000 per year
Why This Role Matters CWTCH CPG is at an inflection point. Our clients are growing fast, and they expect great logistics partners. We’re looking for the person who can take the pressure off leadership, run a tight operation, and help bring in new business.
You’re not stepping into someone else’s legacy. This is your operation to build.
CWTCH CPG is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
