This is a long‑term leadership opportunity for someone who wants to rebuild, scale, and modernize a legacy manufacturing business.

Your Role: What You’ll Be Doing
Oversee daily operations in a high‑mix, low‑volume CNC job shop
Lead and develop a 15‑30 person technical team
Drive P&L improvement, margin expansion, and pricing discipline
Engage directly with customers, especially in the oil and gas sector
Implement quality improvements and strengthen on‑time delivery
Build documented processes, KPIs, dashboards, and scalable systems
Guide customer diversification into aerospace, medical, and industrial sectors
Partner with Freyetic Group coaches for weekly support and execution alignment
5‑10 years managing CNC machine shops in the $2M‑$10M range
Oil and gas machining experience required
Full P&L ownership with a history of improving gross margins
Expertise in high‑mix, low‑volume job shop environments
Deep technical CNC machining knowledge (lathe and mill)
Strong skills in job costing, quoting, and margin analysis
Experience improving quality, workflow, and delivery metrics
Ability to lead, coach, and grow technical teams
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with Houston’s machining/manufacturing community
Understanding of oil and gas business cycles
Insight into aerospace, medical, and industrial opportunities
Compensation & Schedule
Salary: $110K-$190K/yr including performance bonuses
