Epic Analyst – Cadence/Referrals (Full‑Time)
Position at the University of Miami Health System (UHealth), located in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Core Responsibilities:
Serves as a support contact for application end‑users, identifying issues and working to resolve them.
Designs, develops, implements, and maintains the Epic Cadence/Referrals application.
Supports all phases of testing and documents workflow design.
Performs analysis of information technology in clinical work processes and validates the impacts to workflow.
Provides day‑to‑day application support, evaluates and resolves service tickets, implements requested changes, and retrieves data promptly.
Collaborates with trainers on application changes and new features to develop documentation and training strategies.
Assists with analyzing the impact of information technology in clinical work processes.
Participates in on‑call rotations and support.
Attends and participates in applicable committees.
Maintains regular communication with team members and participates in weekly project meetings.
Reviews the status of projects and issues on an ongoing basis with leadership.
Becomes knowledgeable about UHealth’s policies, procedures, and business operations.
Travels to the job site during go‑lives, conferences, rounding, or senior leadership meetings.
Adheres to University and unit‑level policies and safeguards University assets.
Core Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Epic Cadence and Referrals certification.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships.
Strong problem analysis and solution skills.
Leadership, motivation, and training capabilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Commitment to the University’s core values.
Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience, and/or certifications may be considered.
