Base pay range $75,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr

Job Overview We’re seeking a Staff Accountant to join our client’s growing team. This role is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, thrives on accuracy, and wants to contribute to a high-performing finance team. You’ll handle core accounting functions, payroll, accounts payable, and expense management while supporting financial reporting and compliance.

Responsibilities

General Accounting: Prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, and assist with month-end close. Provide support for international operations, including Canada and Mexico, to maintain compliance and facilitate smooth financial processes.

Payroll: Oversee and/or process payroll and associated reporting, including commission and benefit reports, ensure compliance, and act as liaison between HR and Finance.

Accounts Payable: Process vendor invoices, manage approvals, and maintain internal controls.

Expense Reimbursements: Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring policy compliance.

Financial Reporting: Assist with audits, forecasting, and ad hoc reporting.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

At least 3 years of accounting experience.

Knowledge of US GAAP and payroll laws.

Proficiency in QuickBooks or NetSuite and ADP Workforce Now.

Advanced Excel skills such as pivot tables and v-lookups.

Excellent analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Preferred Skills

3 years of payroll experience.

Experience calculating and managing commission plans and payouts.

Familiarity with ERP systems.

Experience implementing or integrating new tools and technologies.

Experience managing foreign subsidiaries and supporting entity consolidations.

Compensation Annual Compensation: $75,000 - $90,000.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefits Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
