Your Role As an Underwriter/Broker, you will lead revenue growth by connecting retail agents with national markets and providing expert underwriting solutions.

What You’ll Do

Grow Your Book: Prospect and develop new business through networking with retail agents.

Be the Expert: Develop deep knowledge of high-risk wholesale insurance solutions across product lines, industries, and risk types.

Deliver Results: Analyze submissions, negotiate competitive pricing, and secure coverage for complex risks.

Lead & Influence: Educate partners on RPS’s solutions and mentor support teams when assigned.

Stay Ahead: Monitor market trends and carrier guidelines to ensure profitable growth.

Travel as needed to engage with clients.

What We’re Looking For

Proven business development and relationship management skills.

Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and excellent communication.

A proactive, goal-driven mindset with urgency to achieve production targets.

Ability to leverage data and tools to craft comprehensive insurance solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of related experience.

Home state P&C license (or willingness to obtain within 90 days).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Sales experience in wholesale insurance or related field preferred.

Compensation And Benefits We offer a competitive salary range of $61,000 to $119,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition to base pay, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package. Below are the minimum core benefits you’ll receive from day one.
