Job Description AECOM is seeking a

Senior Civil Engineer

to join our team in

Honolulu . The Senior Civil Engineer will lead a team, providing oversight and management of various project tasks, developing technical concepts and designs, and preparing documents including reports, studies, plans, specifications, and estimates. The role offers the opportunity to work on a wide variety of domestic and international projects, including Healthcare facilities, Federal, Science + Tech, Higher Education, Sports + Recreation, Transportation, or Infrastructure projects for state, federal, local agencies, and private entities.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

Senior technical resource may serve as technical lead for the team.

Provide specialized technical input to studies and design for staff’s specific area of expertise.

Develop study and design procedures to facilitate high quality cost‑effective work by others.

Participate in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.

Develop construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.

Use expertise in all steps of completing discipline component of the PS&E package.

Perform quality control review of design calculations or drawings.

Prepare technical specification sections.

Provide input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.

Work under the supervision of a project manager or senior‑level team member.

Present design solutions to AECOM project teams.

Collaborate with other team members.

Mentor, train, and supervise junior team members.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field and 8 years of experience (or equivalent).

Valid U.S. Driver’s License to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices when public transportation is not available.

Selected candidate will undergo a motor vehicle records review.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working on site/civil design projects.

Experience preparing calculations and design documents (reports, plans, specifications).

8+ years of experience in civil engineering and building development projects covering all aspects of building design – survey, design development, construction documents, construction administration.

PE license in Civil Engineering.

Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microstation, ArcGIS, Hydrologic/Hydraulic models.

Experience planning and organizing tasks and teams in a deadline‑intensive environment.

Experience working in large and complex projects/programs.

Experience with federal projects is a plus.

Additional Information Sponsorship for U.S. work authorization is not offered now or in the future for this position.

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $130,000 to $160,000.
