Research Support Administrator, School of Public Health, Epidemiology
The Department of Epidemiology at Boston University School of Public Health is seeking a Research Support Administrator responsible for coordinating everyday operations of several research grants related to social epidemiology. The position is part‑time, 20–32 hours per week, with flexibility between 8 am–6 pm Monday–Friday, at least two days per week in the office.

Responsibilities
Perform key administrative functions and operational support, including planning and coordinating research meetings and events, managing room reservations, setup arrangements, catering orders, and preparing slides and documents for presentations and publications.
Ensure accurate calendaring for all meetings related to the projects.
Assist with submission of manuscripts to journals, preparation of bio‑sketches, and other requested documents; perform routine data entry and coordinate special projects.
Plan outreach and mentoring activities for engaging students and other stakeholders.
Track upcoming talks and related activities for progress reporting; manage routine information distribution.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Associate’s degree.
1–3 years of experience; experience in a university setting is preferred.
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Proven skills with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Docs.
Experience with Qualtrics, Zotero, or other citation managers; basic AI tools preferred but not essential.
Experience working in a high‑volume, deadline‑oriented, customer‑focused environment.
Ability to handle highly confidential information with appropriate discretion and sensitivity.
Commitment to providing the highest level of customer service and responsiveness.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
