We are a fast casual eatery that combines chef-inspired, 100 percent all-natural, wholesome foods (Burger Melts, Chicken Melts, Cheese Melts, French Fries and More) with innovative online ordering technology in an eco-friendly environment.

We are based in San Francisco and are currently operating locations throughout California and looking to continue growing within California and beyond.

Therefore, we are seeking (Experienced ONLY) food service professionals to support our current and future growth needs. At The Melt, we help (Experienced ONLY) high-performing Assistant Managers/General Managers/Shift Supervisors change the trajectory of the current and past experiences by offering them the opportunity to escape dead-end situations and pursue professional growth with a growing company.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To The Following Leads Crew Team

Leads and directs Crew shifts acting as manager-in-charge of store

Partners with General Manager to coach, counsel and direct Crew Members

Ensures a positive team environment and maintains a calm professional demeanor always

Creates a positive learning environment by providing clear, specific, timely, and respectful coaching and feedback to Crew to ensure operational excellence and to improve Crew performance

Participates in the staff planning, interviewing and hiring process for new Crew Members

Leads Service Excellence

Ensures “I Love It Here” experience for every guest

Ensure standards are consistently met for speed of service, order accuracy, product quality, and store cleanliness

Handles problem resolution with composure while living The Melt values

Inspires, motivates, and coaches Crew Members to their very best performance

Leads Profitable Operations

Executes opening and closing duties – opening shift, shift change, and closing shift procedures

Ensure food quality, food safety and store cleanliness.

Follows all health, safety and sanitation guidelines.

Manages shift schedule and utilizes deployment tools to maximize shift performance

Manages inventory needs by ordering, receiving and storing items according to procedures

Follows cash management and cash register policies and ensures all Crew always follow procedures

Qualifications

Must be Happy and Positive with a collaborative leadership style

Must have at least 1-2 years of Restaurant Management experience within The Fast Casual, QSR or Mid-Scale Casual Dining segment.

Must have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to learn quickly and the leadership skills to build and be part of a team

Must be able to work under pressure and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Must have exceptional work ethic

Must be 16 to apply

Must be available to work 40-50 hours per week, including weekends.

Must develop and maintain effective working relationships

Must have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to learn quickly and the to work as part of a team
