Position Summary The Senior Mechanical Engineer will be a key technical leader, driving mechanical design packages, equipment and piping specifications, stress analysis, and hands‑on field engineering for complex industrial projects. This role serves as Engineer‑of‑Record, mentors junior engineers, works closely with cross‑discipline teams, and influences project success from early design through construction.

Key Responsibilities

Produce key mechanical deliverables such as equipment datasheets, pipe specs, hydraulic calculations, BOMs, and line/equipment lists.

Lead technical evaluations for equipment, piping, valves, and contractor bid packages.

Serve as Engineer‑of‑Record, reviewing and sealing designs while mentoring junior engineers and designers.

Perform field and construction support including site walk‑downs, RFIs, as‑built documents, and mechanical scope/bid documents.

Execute piping stress analysis in CAESAR II and collaborate closely with cross‑discipline teams to ensure coordinated, accurate engineering work.

Education and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or MET) required, along with an active PE license.

10+ years of mechanical engineering experience on multidiscipline project teams.

At least 3 years of technical leadership with the ability to mentor and guide others.

Strong proficiency with mechanical engineering tools and software; CAESAR II experience required.

Excellent communication skills, independent workload management, and willingness to travel up to 20%.

Location & Work Style This is a

in‑office

role based in the Denver metro area; candidates must be local or willing to relocate and be present in the office to collaborate with engineering, construction, and leadership teams.
