Job Details We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical General Superintendent for a position in our dynamic and fast‑paced construction team. This role is integral to the success of our projects and requires a candidate with a strong background in mechanical construction and leadership. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of HVAC, piping, and mechanical systems, and will be comfortable reviewing drawings, coordinating daily jobsite activities, and managing schedules to meet project timelines. This role also requires excellent problem‑solving, time management, and team leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of the mechanical construction process, including HVAC, piping, and mechanical systems.

Review project drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy and feasibility.

Coordinate daily jobsite activities, including scheduling and supervising staff, managing materials and equipment, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations.

Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.

Mentor and develop staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Use problem‑solving skills to address and resolve project‑related issues.

Ensure quality control by conducting regular inspections and correcting any deficiencies.

Communicate effectively with all team members, including contractors, engineers, and clients, to ensure smooth project execution.

Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical construction.

Minimum of 5 years of leadership or superintendent experience.

Strong understanding of HVAC, piping, and mechanical systems.

Proven ability to review drawings and coordinate daily jobsite activities.

Experience coordinating schedules to meet project timelines.

Proven ability to mentor and develop staff.

Strong problem‑solving skills.

Excellent time management skills.

Demonstrated team leadership abilities.

Strong decision‑making skills.

Knowledge of construction safety regulations.

Proven experience in quality control.

Excellent communication skills.
