Siemens a global powerhouse in electrical and electronic engineering is looking for a seasoned sales engineer with experience in selling Low Voltage and Medium Voltage power distribution products in the Miami, Florida market.

Role Description The Construction Sales Engineer is responsible for selling low- and medium-voltage power distribution and power control solutions within the Miami, FL construction market.

Develop and maintain strong, trusted relationships with electrical contractors and distributor partners.

Provide guidance around the application/use of electrical distribution equipment in construction projects.

Provide subject matter expertise of Siemens products and systems with electrical distributors and contractors.

Provide a strong market presence and support distribution channel partners to drive market share growth.

Fully utilize Siemens CRM (SieSales) as the tool to develop and forecast contractor opportunities.

Product sales responsibility includes Panelboards, Switchboards, Medium Voltage gear, Lighting Panels, Low Voltage Switchgear, Busway, Motor Control Centers, Molded Case Circuit Breakers, IEC/NEMA Control, Safety Switches, and Residential Products.

Build and maintain a business plan by cultivating a healthy sales pipeline by uncovering new opportunities, following up on leads, and managing the existing customer base.

Develop and implement plans for strategic accounts that exceed expectations in revenue retention/growth, account profitability, and customer satisfaction/loyalty.

Build long‑term relationships with senior management at key distribution and contractor accounts.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering is strongly desired; a combination of education (HS Diploma or GED equivalency) and directly related work experience is also considered.

5+ years of successful sales experience.

3+ years of LV/MV power distribution product line experience.

Ability to travel 15% of the time.

Valid driver’s license in good standing.

At least 21 years of age to participate in the required Siemens vehicle plan.

Legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Preferred Qualifications

BS in Electrical Engineering preferred.

Experience selling to Electrical Contractors is required.
