Construction Sales Engineer – Switchgear (Low/Medium Voltage) – Miami, FL. Siemens is seeking a seasoned sales engineer with experience selling Low Voltage and Medium Voltage power distribution products in the Miami market. Role location: Miami, Florida. This position will be in the Miami, Florida market. Role Description
The Construction Sales Engineer is responsible for selling low- and medium-voltage power distribution and power control solutions within the Miami, FL construction market. Develop and maintain strong, trusted relationships with electrical contractors and distributor partners. Provide guidance around the application/use of electrical distribution equipment in construction projects. Provide subject matter expertise of Siemens products and systems with electrical distributors and contractors. Maintain a strong market presence and support distribution channel partners to drive market share growth. Fully utilize Siemens CRM (SieSales) to develop and forecast contractor opportunities. Product sales responsibility but not limited to: Panelboards, Switchboards, Medium Voltage gear, Lighting Panels, Low Voltage Switchgear, Busway, Motor Control Centers, Molded Case Circuit Breakers, IEC/NEMA Control, Safety Switches, and Residential Products. Build and maintain a business plan by cultivating a healthy sales pipeline, following up on leads, and managing existing customer base. Develop and implement plans for strategic accounts that exceed expectations in revenue retention/growth, account profitability, and customer satisfaction/loyalty. Build long-term relationships with senior management at key distribution and contractor accounts. Qualifications
Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering is strongly desired, or a combination of education (HS Diploma or GED equivalency) and directly related work experience. 5+ years of successful sales experience. 3+ years of LV/MV power distribution product line experience. Ability to travel 15% of the time. Valid Driver's license in good standing. Age 21+ to participate in Siemens vehicle plan.
