Shift Lead
Walgreens seeks a dedicated Shift Lead to manage day‑to‑day store operations, deliver exceptional customer experience, and support team members.
Base Pay $18.00/hr – $21.00/hr
Responsibilities
Open and close the store in the absence of store management, including all required system start‑ups, cash handling, and ensuring the floor and stock room are ready for business; responsible for opening the back door for deliveries.
Complete product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provide change as requested to cash registers.
Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience, greeting and assisting customers and resolving issues.
Assist and coach team members with vendor ordering, order exceptions, and reverse logistics.
Maintain accurate inventory counts, pricing, and store displays; manage promotions and seasonal merchandise.
Ensure compliance with state and local laws on regulated products and store policies; execute safety and housekeeping tasks.
Assist with bookkeeping activities and maintain floor cleanliness and appearance.
Qualifications
One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder experience.
Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Knowledge of store inventory control is preferred.
Ability to perform tasks such as bag checks and compliance checks.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with pharmacy or PTCB certification (if applicable).
Consideration of applicants with arrest and conviction records.
Salary Range: $18 – $21 per hour.
