Base pay range $18.00/hr - $21.00/hr
Responsibilities
Open and close the store, including all required systems start‑ups, cash handling, and ensuring the floor and stock room are ready, and open the back door for deliveries.
Process product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provide change as requested to cash registers.
Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services, resolving issues and answering questions to ensure a positive experience.
Model and share customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
Hold store keys to open and close without management as necessary.
Assist and coach team members in the warehouse and vendor ordering process, including opening the back door for vendor deliveries.
Register all related sales on assigned cash register, including records of scanning errors, price verifications, items not on file, price modifications, and voids.
Assist manager or assistant store manager in reviewing order exceptions and reverse logistics.
Assist manager or assistant store manager in evaluating and developing displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise.
Maintain accurate inventory counts and on‑hand quantities in basic departments, stockroom, and overstock locations.
Ensure the Outdate program is followed with team members.
Manage basic department pricing and daily price changes, ensuring proper signage is displayed and local regulations are complied with.
Assist with bookkeeping activities, including cash report, cash counts, ledgers, and bill payment as requested.
Assist with exterior and interior maintenance, ensuring the store is clean, neat, and orderly, and request repairs as needed.
Separate food items and place products according to policies, using first‑in, first‑out for consumable items.
Hold working knowledge of store systems and equipment.
Assist at Pharmacy window as requested.
Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
Perform bag checks of team members before leaving the store.
Comply with all company policies and procedures, maintaining respectful relationships with coworkers.
Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
Training & Personal Development
Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Manager.
Communications
Serve as a liaison between management and non‑management team members, communicating tasks when management is absent.
Report disciplinary issues and customer complaints to management.
Basic Qualifications
One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Except in Puerto Rico)
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of store inventory control.
Consideration of applicants with arrest and conviction records.
Valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.
