Financial Planning Analyst – Audax Group Audax Group, a leading alternative investment manager, is seeking a Financial Planning Analyst to join its finance team. The role is based in Boston, MA and requires 2 days per week in the office.

Base Pay Range $70,000 – $105,000 per year

POSITION SUMMARY The FP&A Financial Analyst is part of a team responsible for designing and implementing processes that promote long‑term planning and analysis of Audax Private Equity, its affiliates, and principals. The analyst will develop integrated plans and budgets, and provide concise, timely analysis to support management decisions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and maintain firm‑wide business models for PE Business Unit P&Ls, cash flows, and capital requirements.

Run sensitivity and scenario analyses, including tax impacts, on model inputs.

Update projections based on actual data obtained from systems.

Trace the impact of company‑level performance, cash flows, and balance sheet items to principals’ personal positions.

Prepare executive‑level summaries and recommendations.

Execute weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting packages.

Update sale proceeds waterfalls for individual investments and funds, including carried‑interest estimates.

Assist in fundraising and investor requests and compile performance and holdings reporting.

Document workflow and recommend efficiency improvements.

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS

1–3 years professional experience in an analytical role developing financial models in data‑driven systems.

BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related major with strong investment knowledge and exceptional GPA.

Experience with alternative investments, especially private equity or hedge funds, is a plus.

Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Experience with Anaplan or other budgeting/forecasting software, fund accounting software, and SQL or Snowflake language is a plus.

Strong organization, multitasking, and prioritization skills.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with keen attention to detail.

LOCATION Boston, MA – 2 days/week in office (in‑office requirements may change based on business needs).
