The Role

Maxwell is hiring an exceptional Executive Assistant / Personal Assistant to work directly with our CEO. This is not your typical assistant role. We're looking for someone sharp, proactive, and highly capable, ready to handle a wide range of responsibilities across executive support, HR, finance, operations, and more. You’ll be the CEO’s right hand, making key decisions, managing sensitive workflows, and keeping both business and personal life running smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the CEO’s calendar, travel, meetings, inbox, and general time management
  • Serve as a point of contact internally and externally on behalf of the CEO
  • Handle personal admin such as appointments, errands, reminders, gifting, and bookings
  • Assist with HR coordination including onboarding, contracts, schedules, and documentation
  • Manage payments, invoices, payroll vendors, and expense tracking
  • Own special projects from researching vendors to managing operational workflows
  • Help coordinate high-touch events or design-related projects as needed
  • Communicate with tact, clarity, and professionalism in a fast-moving environment

What We’re Looking For

  • Based in New York City and available for full-time, in-person work at our Tribeca headquarters
  • Highly intelligent, detail-oriented, and reliable, able to handle sensitive matters
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Calm under pressure and thrives in fast-paced environments with many moving parts
  • Takes ownership and gets things done without needing to be asked twice
  • No specific degree or credential is required. We care more about your thinking, initiative, and ability to execute than your resume bullet points

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary range is $70,000 to $90,000 depending on experience
  • Full healthcare coverage
  • 10 days paid time off
  • Work with a small, high-trust team in a culture where you’ll learn a lot
