The Role Maxwell is hiring an exceptional Executive Assistant / Personal Assistant to work directly with our CEO. This is not your typical assistant role. We're looking for someone sharp, proactive, and highly capable, ready to handle a wide range of responsibilities across executive support, HR, finance, operations, and more. You’ll be the CEO’s right hand, making key decisions, managing sensitive workflows, and keeping both business and personal life running smoothly.
Responsibilities
Manage the CEO’s calendar, travel, meetings, inbox, and general time management
Serve as a point of contact internally and externally on behalf of the CEO
Handle personal admin such as appointments, errands, reminders, gifting, and bookings
Assist with HR coordination including onboarding, contracts, schedules, and documentation
Manage payments, invoices, payroll vendors, and expense tracking
Own special projects from researching vendors to managing operational workflows
Help coordinate high-touch events or design-related projects as needed
Communicate with tact, clarity, and professionalism in a fast-moving environment
What We’re Looking For
Based in New York City and available for full-time, in-person work at our Tribeca headquarters
Highly intelligent, detail-oriented, and reliable, able to handle sensitive matters
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Calm under pressure and thrives in fast-paced environments with many moving parts
Takes ownership and gets things done without needing to be asked twice
No specific degree or credential is required. We care more about your thinking, initiative, and ability to execute than your resume bullet points
Compensation and Benefits
Salary range is $70,000 to $90,000 depending on experience
