Salary Range: $84,000 - $129,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for manufacturing roles, including high-volume staffing and shift scheduling.
  • Oversee employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures for production staff.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures compliant with labor laws and specific to manufacturing operations.
  • Lead performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and development plans for factory personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations (e.g., OSHA) within the manufacturing facility.
  • Coordinate and deliver training programs, focusing on safety, compliance, and skills development for the production workforce.
  • Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and equity for manufacturing employees.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an HR Manager or Senior HR Generalist within a manufacturing environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor laws, safety regulations (e.g., OSHA), and compliance requirements relevant to manufacturing operations.
  • Strong expertise in employee relations, conflict resolution, and fostering a positive and productive work environment for a diverse workforce.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies for production and skilled trades roles.
  • Experience with performance management systems, compensation, benefits administration, and HRIS platforms.
  • Ability to strategically partner with plant leadership to drive organizational goals and enhance workforce productivity.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with labor relations or unionized environments
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies
  • Knowledge of EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) regulations and best practices specific to manufacturing
  • Experience in workforce planning and scheduling for multi-shift production environments
