Position Summary
This company is seeking a General Manager of Administration for its Santa Ana, California office. This role will oversee all administrative operations of the U.S. subsidiary (approximately 20 employees) and will be responsible for a broad range of functions, including finance, human resources, general affairs, office management, and day-to-day administrative activities.
Key Responsibilities Finance
Oversee departmental accounting operations
Prepare and submit financial reports to the parent company
Manage accounts receivable and collections
Monitor budgets and analyze actual performance
Conduct business performance assessmentsManage and control personnel expenses
Optimize cash flow
Oversee monthly and annual closing processes
Process daily accounts payable and biweekly payroll
Human Resources
Lead organizational improvement initiatives
Develop and implement workforce planning strategies
Manage personnel transfers and placement adjustments
Conduct employee performance evaluations
Maintain and update compensation structures and salary tables
Oversee attendance and timekeeping management
Ensure compliance with required federal and state training
General Affairs
Formulate, revise, and enforce internal company policies
Communicate official decisions and directives across the organization
Manage and safeguard company assets
Provide administrative and clerical support
Evaluate and guide compliance practices
Supervise inside sales operations
Other Duties
Oversee all administrative operations within the management division of the U.S. subsidiary
Qualifications Required
Native-level proficiency in Japanese
Management experience in the United States
Proven track record managing administrative teams in the U.S.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Strong multitasking and time management abilities in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to travel domestically (and occasionally internationally)
