About the Role The General Manager oversees all administrative, finance, HR, and general affairs operations for the Santa Ana office. This role ensures organizational efficiency, leads administrative initiatives, and acts as a key liaison with the Japan headquarters, external accounting/payroll partners, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities Finance
Oversee accounting operations and monthly/annual closing
Manage A/R, A/P (daily), payroll processing (biweekly), and cash flow
Prepare reports for HQ and monitor budget vs. actuals
Evaluate business performance and manage personnel-related expenses
Coordinate with external accounting and payroll firms
Human Resources
Lead organizational improvement and workforce planning
Manage staffing changes and personnel transfers
Conduct performance evaluations
Maintain compensation structures, salary tables, and attendance records
Ensure compliance with federal & state training requirements
General Affairs
Establish and enforce internal rules and policies
Communicate company directives across the organization
Manage office assets and administrative support functions
Oversee compliance practices
Provide oversight for Inside Sales activities
Qualifications
Japanese bilingual – professional fluency required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field
U.S. corporate administrative management experience
Strong leadership, communication, and time-management skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to travel domestically and occasional international trips
Preferred: Accounting/finance background
