Director of Business Development
to join a growing leader in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology space for a
remote permanent position
based out of
Massachusetts . The
Director of Business Development
will be responsible for driving new client acquisition by selling clinical research services to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, leveraging their CRO industry experience.
Responsibilities
Drive business growth by securing new partnerships with biotech and pharma clients.
Focus on high-value accounts with deal sizes ranging from $2M to $10M, with potential for $30M–$40M global programs.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align sales strategy with operational capabilities.
Represent the company at industry events and client meetings.
Qualifications
5–10 years of experience in sales within the CRO (Contract Research Organization) industry.
Proven track record of closing large-scale clinical trial deals.
Strong understanding of therapeutic areas including oncology, immunology, and neurology.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Compensation
Salary Range:
$180,000-$200,000/year (USD) + commission
