Key Responsibilities and Duties
Lead and oversee the preparation and review of income tax returns for individuals, partnerships/LLCs, S Corporations, C Corporations, trusts, estates, and non-profit organizations.
Maintain and grow strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor.
Manage and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing training and development.
Research and interpret complex income tax laws to provide solutions for clients.
Ensure high-quality work while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Oversee compliance with firm policies and applicable tax regulations.
Collaborate with partners and senior leadership on client strategy and firm initiatives.
Qualifications Needed
Minimum 8 years of public accounting experience in income tax preparation, with at least 5 years at the tax manager level.
Comprehensive understanding of income tax laws.
Experience in tax research and interpretation of complex tax issues.
Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to train and mentor staff.
Excellent interpersonal and client relationship skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work extended hours during tax season.
