We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. This position requires a professional who can deliver high-quality clinical care in a secure correctional environment while demonstrating empathy, sound judgment, and strong interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients with diverse medical needs, including general medical-surgical, emergency, and chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes, hypertension).
Respond promptly and effectively to medical emergencies in high-pressure situations.
Perform and interpret TB skin tests, and assist in managing withdrawal symptoms and mental health crises.
Administer medications accurately, maintain complete health records, and follow all clinical and safety protocols.
Communicate effectively with patients, correctional officers, and healthcare staff to ensure coordinated, compassionate care.
Shift: Monday - Friday 3p-11:30p with weekend availability
