Diagnostic Sonographer - Per Diem

Reporting to the Section Leader, Mammography/Sonography, utilizes high frequency sound waves and other diagnostic techniques for medical diagnosis. Produces and evaluates ultrasound images and related data.
Minimum Qualifications
Graduate of an educational program that meets eligibility for ARDMS registry.
Current registration with ARDMS, or ARDMS‑eligible with ARDMS achieved within 1 year of hire.
BLS healthcare provider required.
Experience
Previous experience as a sonographer strongly preferred.
Skills
Ultrasound scanning skills in vascular, OBGYN, abdominal, and small parts.
Ability to understand oral and written medical/radiological/sonographic terminology.
Understanding of cross‑sectional anatomy and correlation with anatomical structures.
Identify pathological processes.
Read, write, and communicate in English.
Computer Skills Ability to maintain confidential information.
