Job Summary
We are seeking a driven and experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about litigation, possess strong legal acumen, and have a proven track record in managing complex civil cases from inception through trial and appeal.
Key Responsibilities
Represent clients in a broad range of civil litigation matters, including commercial disputes, contract claims, personal injury, and real estate issues Conduct detailed legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements Manage all phases of litigation: case evaluation, discovery, negotiation, mediation, and trial preparation Advocate on behalf of clients in court proceedings and settlement conferences Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel Collaborate with partners and other team members to develop case strategies Stay up-to-date with changes in civil law, local court rules, and relevant regulations
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Admission to the Maryland State Bar is required Minimum of 3 years of civil litigation experience preferred Strong trial experience and courtroom presence strongly desired Excellent analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
