Search Group Solutions is recruiting an Estate Planning Associate for a Houston-based law firm offering a clearly defined partnership track.
This role is for an attorney who can deliver comprehensive estate planning services, handle sensitive matters with discretion, and build lasting client relationships while developing their own practice.
Key Details
1900 billable hour requirement
Compensation aligned with graduation year and experience
Transparent partnership track
Billings bonus tied to collections, plus production bonus
Origination bonus program
Current Texas law license required
Transcripts and writing sample required with resume submission
Role Responsibilities
Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and guide clients through probate and asset distribution
Advise on wealth preservation, tax strategies, retirement planning, charitable giving, and insurance considerations
Represent clients in probate-related court proceedings with professionalism and discretion
Collaborate with clients to design customized estate plans aligned with their long-term goals
Maintain organized, accurate case files and support a collaborative team environment
Apply strong drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills with deep knowledge of estate, trust, and tax laws
Independently manage and grow client relationships
Requirements
JD from an accredited law school
Active Texas law license
At least 3 years of estate planning experience
Proficiency in legal research tools
