The Role: As a Manager—Slot Techs, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient technical support is always available. You will ensure the Slot Technical Department operates in a way that enhances guests' perception of Bally's Chicago Casino as an exciting entertainment destination, providing an unparalleled gaming experience. You will strive to deliver excellent service to all internal and external guests and perform all duties in alignment with Bally's Chicago Casino IC's, Illinois Gaming Board policies, and uphold the company's vision, mission, and values.
Duties and Responsibilities Ensure Compliance with Rules and Regulations
Ensure compliance with all ICs and Illinois Gaming Board standards or relevant industry standards during all aspects of work
Ensure adherence to IC's and the Illinois Gaming Board, Code of Conduct, Internal Rules, and Regulations always
General Job Functions
Ensure development of the annual budget and cost management for the Slot Technical Department
Plan, organize, and coordinate departmental work, assigning projects and responsibilities
Assist in planning, developing, and implementing slot game and layout changes
Focus on staff career advancement through assessments, training, and development programs
Oversee the efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of all slot machines
Troubleshoot and repair slot machines and equipment, including circuit boards
Perform initial setup, repairs, preventative maintenance, and floor repairs for slot machines
Monitor players for improper use or cheating, reporting incidents to management and security
Be responsible for supervising and managing staff in the Slot Technician department
Perform any other tasks assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education required
Minimum 5 years in slot machine management in a casino environment
Demonstrates in‑depth knowledge of gaming equipment setup and repair of electrical, electronic, and mechanical components, with recent hands‑on experience
Ensures high standards of service, fostering a quality‑focused workforce and motivating by example with energy and enthusiasm
Possesses a solid understanding of slot technical operations, including inventory control, ACSC, and staff development programs
Adapts to work various shifts, ensuring adherence to company policies and maintaining a professional appearance
