You want to be the boss? Now’s your chance. Domino’s Pizza is hiring bosses – more specifically General Managers. It’s a tough job that needs a natural like you. Of course, you’ll need some skills – judgment, math and the ability to multi‑task.
Duties & Responsibilities
Perform all the duties of the Customer Services Representatives and Delivery Drivers.
Manage anywhere from 3 to 30 employees during your scheduled shift.
Responsible for all store operations.
Greeting customers and taking orders with a smile.
Operating the cash register and collecting payment from customers.
Making fast, accurate and consistent products while complying with all portion sizes, recipes and baking procedures.
Delivering product by vehicle from the store to the customer in a safe and courteous manner.
Maintaining cleanliness of the restaurant from the first thing the customer sees all the way to the back of the store.
Maintain a professional appearance at all times in compliance with Domino’s Pizza Grooming Standards.
What We’re Looking For The good news is we can teach you how to answer the phone and make a perfect pizza. But here are a few skills you should have to be a successful General Manager:
Experience leading a team; during your shift you will manage a staff of 3 to 30 people. Use your attitude and motivational skills to keep them in the right place, at the right time and doing the right thing.
A clean driving record and the ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record check. You must have reliable vehicle insurance and a valid driver’s license.
A great role model: you’re the person everyone will look to. From being on time for your shift to having a great attitude toward customers and co‑workers, you must maintain high standards for yourself and the team.
Availability: Our stores are open 7 days a week, even on weekends and holidays. Your schedule is flexible, but you must be willing to work when the team needs you the most.
Age: You must be at least 18 years old.
Qualifications
Operate all equipment.
Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk‑in cooler.
Prepare product.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
Orientation and training provided on the job.
Excellent communication skills – written and verbal, including telephone.
Proficiency with addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and precise monetary change.
Motor coordination for rapid and accurate hand‑eye movements.
Keyboard or touch screen proficiency for order entry.
Essential Functions / Physical Requirements
Standing, walking, lifting and carrying heavy items (up to 50 lb).
Work in varying temperatures, hazardous surfaces, fumes and dust.
Strong senses of hearing, vision and spatial awareness.
Ability to direct activities, work alone and in teams, handle stress and meet strict quality control standards.
