Instrumentation - Automation - SCADA Specialist - Northeast Region

In this role you will support our Operational Technology Manager and Regional Services Group by designing, implementing, and maintaining Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, PLCs, and associated control panels.
Base pay range $110,600.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Travel to projects throughout the region
Configure, commission, and maintain Control Panels, PLCs, and SCADA systems
Support the installation of Control Panels, PLCs, & SCADA servers and workstations
Troubleshoot process control and SCADA communications issues
Work remotely to monitor assets, identify maintenance needs, and provide support when offsite
Apply minor updates and fixes to existing SCADA & PLC systems remotely
Collaborate with facility managers to identify technology needs and document existing infrastructure
Develop plans to improve facility control systems in alignment with facility needs
Collaborate with other disciplines on equipment installation, startup, and commissioning
Configure equipment to conform to process control and resiliency standards
Manage SCADA user accounts and access controls
May be required to work overtime or outside the regular schedule
Tools & Equipment
General office equipment, including telephone, copier, PC/laptop, and other miscellaneous office equipment
Industrial control equipment such as VFDs, PLCs, HMIs, embedded devices, and radios
Servers, switches, routers, and other computer equipment that support the commercial and industrial network environment
Hand tools, power tools, ladders, and test equipment
What You’ll Need
Principle‑driven person that exudes integrity, curiosity, and empathy
5+ years of experience in Control System Design, PLC Programming, and SCADA Development
Solid technical foundation focusing on electrical and/or control system design
Estimated 50% travel throughout the Northeast Region will be required
Valid driver’s license with no major infractions and a REAL ID driver’s license as required by TSA for travel
Ideally, You’ll Also Have
Visionary mindset, planning far ahead and focusing on what is important
Relevant SCADA & PLC OEM certifications or certifications/training
Background in networking or information systems management
Other corollary skills such as automotive repair, mechanical skills, process, manufacturing knowledge, etc.
