Base pay range: $110,600 - $150,000 per year.

Jacobs challenges today to reinvent tomorrow by solving the world's most critical problems. In this role, you'll support water and wastewater facilities across the Northeast Region, taking ownership of and supporting practical, resilient, and secure technology.

Responsibilities

Travel to projects throughout the region.

Configure, commission, and maintain Control Panels, PLCs, and SCADA Systems.

Support installation of Control Panels, PLCs, & SCADA Servers and Workstations.

Troubleshoot process control issues and SCADA communications issues.

Remotely monitor assets and perform minor updates.

Work with facility managers to identify technology needs.

Document existing infrastructure and develop improvement plans.

Collaborate with other disciplines on equipment installation, startup, and commissioning.

Configure equipment to meet process control and resilience standards.

Manage SCADA user accounts and access controls.

Work overtime as required.

Qualifications

A principle-driven person who exudes Integrity, Curiosity, & Empathy.

5+ years of experience in Control System Design, PLC Programming, and SCADA Development.

Solid technical foundation focusing on electrical and/or control system design.

Estimated 50% travel throughout the region required.

Valid driver’s license; driver’s license must meet TSA REAL ID requirements.

Additional desirable experience: SCADA & PLC OEM certifications; networking or information systems management background; automotive repair, mechanical skills, process or manufacturing knowledge.

Tools & Equipment

General office equipment (telephone, copier, PC/laptop).

Industrial control equipment (VFDs, PLCs, HMIs, embedded devices, radios).

Servers, switches, routers for the network environment.

Hand tools, power tools, ladders, and test equipment.
